Another Shower Question

I am also trying to come up with non cheesy games to play at the shower.  Nothing lingerie based, no toilet paper brides, etc.  Any suggestions are really appreciated!  Thanks

I always really liked the "how much do you know your fiance?" game.  You ask the FI questions before the shower and then see how many the bride to be can answer correctly.  For each wrong answer she has to put a piece of bubblegum in her mouth.

Then there's always bridal bingo for when she's opening gifts.

One of my BMs did the celebrity couple match game... one half of the couple is in one column, other half in the other column (jumbled of course). Whoever matches the most wins a prize (or however you want to do it). She did a good mix of older couples (Cary Grant, etc.) to newer ones.

here are a few we have done in the past:

hand out paper plates & pens to all of the guests.  the guests put the paper plates on their head, and attempt to draw what the bride's dress looks like.  The bride judges who is closest.

someone gets the bride an apron and a bunch of kitchen utensils (the bridesmaids as a gift, or the last time we did this the bride's mom made the apron and got the utensils for her).  pin the utensils to the apron and have the bride model the apron & utensils for a bit (5 minutes or so).  Then have her leave the room and have the guests write down as many of the utensils as they remember, whoever has the most wins.

guess the famous couple......you read off a description of a famous couple, and guests write down who they think it is (think Fred & Wilma Flintstone, Brad & and Angelina etc, and then one couple should be the bride & groom).  whoever has the most correct wins.

my favorite, which isn't so much a shower game, but still fun.  as the bride is opening her gifts, have someone write down what she says about each one.  then for the bachelorette party, the list is read off as what will be said on the wedding night.  depending on the shower gifts, it can be quite hilarious

We did "How well do you know the bride". Put together a list of ~15 questions about me (What color was the dress I was wearing, How many earrings, Where did I go to college, Where was DH & I first date, etc). I left the room for about 10 minutes while they filled it out, then came back & revealed the answers. It was a lot of fun to hear what people came up with :)

We also did, the "Whats in your purse" game. That one went over really well too...& of course my mom had some silly things planted in people's purses to make it even more fun :)
