How to fire someone (NWR)

I mentioned a while back that we are unhappy with our realtor. Well I decided to give her a second chance and the long and short of it is we are still not happy. I emailed her Tuesday and Thursday and still no response - am I being too impatient or is this too long to wait to hear if we can go look at homes this weekend? I guess I just feel like this is a business where you have to move quickly.

So my question is, how do I fire her? I mean, we don't have a signed agreement that she's our exclusive agent (we did but expired). Would it be really unprofessinal to email her and say we aren't happy and will be working with someone else in the future?

I don't want to lie and say we're not buying a house and I feel a bit guilty because she has taken us to see quite a few homes but we just haven't found anything we're interested in enough to buy.

I would be honest with her and tell her what you really thought of her.  I think any type of criticism is good criticism.  Hopefully she'll learn from her mistakes!

Why do I have MOD powers??  I just responded to another post and I see I can delete posts & people.  Watch out...I'm the knot god!  ;)

I'd just email her again and say that now that your exclusivity contract has expired, you are going to go in a different direction because your expectations are not being met, and maybe list some specifics, like the emails not being promptly returned.

I don't think you are being impatient at all. Don't feel guilty- she's not treating you like an important client!

The truth, agree with PP. If you need the number of a GREAT agent, you PM me. I know two or three GREAT ones. :)

I don't think you are being impatient. Ive been obsessed with HGTV and that's what of the things that they've discussing lately. People who are unhappy with their realtors yet instead of changing the person they stick with that realtor and end up being miserable throughout the entire process.

Send her an email, saying look, "it was great working with yah but we need someone who is on top of their game when looking for a house". But say in a nicer way. lol
That sucks. I hope you find someone you like and who will put in 100% for you
