Bummed and frustrated. (NWR)

I had an interview today and was totally excited.  It's wasn't for the job I applied for but was a similar position within the same company.  It didn't quit go as excepted or maybe it did.  I guess I should be use to this  It just frustrates me when ppl ask about previous experience and you can clearly see from my resume and application that I do not.  All my training was from school and externship.  It's like once they realize that I have no experience their not interested.  WTH, you called me, you thought I was qualified but now I'm not.  Did you not read my resume.  It feels like a total waste of time on both are parts.  Ugh!  Sorry rant over.

Finding my first job was a miserable experience.  It took forever, and I even cried over a few rejections.  I know what you're going through is difficult, but you will find something, don't worry!

I had a similar thing happen to me about a year or so ago. I got called for an interview, they made me do a math and typing test and then (which i passed) then when she was interviewing me she said "I'm not sure you have the experience we're looking for"

WTH!? You called ME based on that SAME resume! lol stupid people

Good luck with the job hunt. I'm there with you. Trying to get out of retail QUICKLY

You are right to be frustrated with the way it went. I used to do interviewing and hiring a long time ago. I didn't call people to show up unless their resume had exactly the type of experience we were looking for. What some of you are going through is a ridiculous waste of everyone's time.

Good luck. Hopefully something will turn up soon.
