NWR: OUCH! - long

I have 2 bulldogs...one of which is very excited when she sees ANYTHING!  She bolts towards them.  She is super strong too.  Today when letting the dogs outside, Bella saw a dog and tried to take off...normally I would be able to control her but I was on a mound in our front yard where a tree used to be (a whole other vent in itself).  She pulled and I lost my balance and fell...dropping her leash and off she went. 

I yelled to the other dog owners that she was friendly that she just wanted to play...so I run after her still trying to control the other dog (not really control..she just is a slow, typical bulldog).

I couldnt get a hold of the dogs leash handle, just the string part (retractable leash)...and it got wrapped around my fingers...it burned my pinky skin in between my pinky and my ring finger on my left hand.  My right hand has a blister on the ring finger and first finger....and I have a burn from the leash on my arm   Hurts like hell!

I finally got them in the house and FI was there LUCKILY!  I was crying and literally shaking! 

My day just went downhill from there....had to cancel doing my moms hair...FI lost his keys at Meijer so I was late for another client   FSIL was giving me a hard time (sarcastically, yes...but still bugged me) about not rescheduling my dress fitting for tomorrow instead of Friday because she is out of town on Friday.  BLAH! 

Whatever....I am crabby tonight

ps...I cant wear my engagement ring!  Lets hope this heals up in 3 weeks!!!

So sorry about your pain!  But on the bright side maybe you can get some sympathy and recruit some helpers for your favors!

ouch !!! i have a bully too!! and she has pups due friday!! hope your hand feels better soon.hopefully the other pet owner was understanding.

Ohhh please show pictures when they are born!!!  How old is your girl?  We have 2 girls...2.5 and 1.5 years. 

I really just got excited thinking about little bully puppies!!!!

Kendra, my girl will be 3 in october. We show her, she just finished her championship about a month ago!! we bred with a boy from NJ, who was a winner at the West Minister dog show last year.
Appointment scheduled for 7am! puppies will be home by noon! we are SO excited!
