E-Pic Part II, I need a location(s)

I setup my appt for our 2nd E-pic session, the first one was inside his studio for the STD's. Now we need a place or places for outdoor e-pics. I asked and he said where ever we wanted, but idk where. Where did you take your e-pics ? I'm going to follow up with him via phone or look at some of the-pics he has taken of other clients to get a better visual.

thanks

    What area are you in?

Are there any places with sentimental meaning to you?  Like where you had your first date, or where he proposed?  We're doing ours on U of M's central campus, because we met while we were students there.  There are a lot of cool places in Ann Arbor if you're over that way, like the Matthaei Botanical Gardens (outside and inside the greenhouse), the Art Museum which is free to enter, the law quad (beautiful old building with cool arches and stuff), the Arb (which is basically a big park), fountains near the diag, or if you're going for a more urbany look, you could explore the State Street area.  Anyway, that's what we'll be doing next weekend, so I'll let you know how it goes!

It helps to know what area you are looking in.

I think some of the best outdoor pics I've seen were on Belle Isle, or with the Detroit River or skyline in the background. There is also a carousel near the river in the Rivard Park.

But I also agree, find places that have meaning to you.

No places that are really sentimental to us, but I think I will check out the A2 area, in about 10 mins away from there. Since I grow up in Detroit maybe Downtown as well. There was another photographer (and I'll ask mines as well he will probably know) that had a e-pic session on a red bridge, it looked freshly paint and was nice !

    thanks
