what happened to misty farms?

just curious if anyone knows what is going on with misty farms in ann arbor? I would love to have my wedding there but the website isn't working and I called and left a message and got a text back about not booking until after a township meeting after next week.

I googled their website and wasn't able to pull it up either. If they sent you a message that they would not be booking until next week that doesn't throw up any red flags to me. When I did google their name and location, I found a blog entry on Two Foot Creative's Blog with some more pictures of the venue.

Did they say if your date was available? If it is, I would respond back to let them know that you are interested in setting up an appointment to view the grounds in consideration for your wedding.

If they are booked, you might check out River Birch Lodge in Hartland. I'm not sure if this is too far for you (or in your budget), but it's also in a rustic setting.

A lot of big cities have their agendas on the website.  You could likely take a look there to see if there is anything on the agenda regarding the venue...i.e. request for a SLUP.

They had some issues with taxes and the town, but it is all sorted out now. They will be hosting weddings next summer. Thank god, because I am getting married there! There website is up and running again!
