Need Help Finding a Ceremony Location!!

Hello fellow brides!

My fiance and I have booked our reception, but when we went over to book the chapel, it just wasn't what I was looking for.  So now we have the hall booked but not the ceremony site...

We are looking to have a non-denominational ceremony..  The ceremony will be in September so either indoor or outdoor works for us.  Does anyone know of any beautiful ceremony locations in the Northville/Livonia area??

Thank you for your help!!

We chose to have our wedding/reception in Livonia. We ended up booking "Laurel Capel" the outside isn't all that nice but the chapel itself (inside) is beautiful and the price is perfect (um... $100 for a week day wedding) lol so the price is why we booked. http://www.laurelchapel.com/index.html

Some other places i was considering were:

We are having our ceremony in the chapel at Greenmead Village at 8 Mile & Newburg Rds. It's lovely and historic, not sure if that's what you want. It seats about 100. You bring in your own officiant.

Go to my link below, click the vendor tab, and their website is on there. They have fabulous grounds as well, lots of gardens, a small arched gazebo, an old mansion. If you look at the photo link, our engagement pics were taken on the grounds.

I think it's about $300 for just the chapel for residents, not sure of non-resident prices. We booked in 2009, so I'm sure the prices have gone up.

I'm not sure if you're interested in having your ceremony at an actual church, but Holy Cross Lutheran allows non members to use their church. You can bring your own officiant or use theirs. It's located at 6 Mile and Merriman Road. PM me if you need more info.

    Thank you ladies!!

Corinne- Wow that sounds perfect! We did want a church, but because neither of us actually go to church, we didn't think we actually could have our wedding in one.  I will check them out- Thank You!!

Another option, if one of you is Catholic (practicing or not...) is The Academy of Sacred Heart.  We are getting married there in August, it is BEAUTIFUL!

    Check out the web site!
