Stephanie's Wedding Creations

Any of her customers heard from her lately? I have sent a few unanswered emails and a phone call and I am starting to get a little bit nervous she isn't going to show up with my linens in 2 weeks.

I know that her reviews all say she is bad with communication, but I am curious if this is the norm or if something has happened to her or something? It's been a few months since I heard anything at all.

I should add that it's not like i am emailing her to shoot the breeze. I need to confirm details so I have a legit reason for contacting her. I just have to keep doing it because she won't email me back.

    Yikes.  I'd be worried.  Does she have a storefront or somewhere you can go to actually see her?

    I have no idea. and I don't get into town until the week before the wedding so by that time I'd need to have another vendor booked I would think.

    I realize that my wedding will go on with or without the linens, but i was looking forward to the venue looking the way i had imagined it. Yuck.

    I was in touch with her about 2 months ago, and then I tried following up with her about 6 weeks ago, and never heard anything. She works out of her house in Shelby Township. I haven't booked my linens yet, but I hope you get ahold of her soon!

    Does you venue offer standard linens as a back-up?  Does your florist offer linens?  May want to get a tenative back-up plan.

    In the meantime, hopefully another bride who is using her can offer some insight.

    I had been sending her emails and texting her for over two weeks regarding a refund and to get back a deposit (after returning the linens to her). Finally I had now husband leave a message and call her too. She finally emailed back that she has a problem with her pregnancy and she has been sick. This was about a week ago. I actually felt bad for her, but I wished she had someone else took over her phone and email while she was sick so I did not feel upset and seem like I was almost harassing her after all of that. I had a hard time communicating with her, but she delivered, the linens were great. I still would not recommend her, the headache and stress of the whole situation was not worth saving a couple hundred dollars in the end.

    I am not sure what my advise would be..maybe just  keep calling.

    What kind of deposit did you place with her?  In my opinion, I would say chalk the deposit up as being down the drain and go with another vendor that has more referrals and better customer service.

    I'm using Glamorous Elegance for my linens and chargers and have had a great experience with her so far. She has fast response, which I appreciate.

    The deposit was like $50. Not a huge loss. My hall offers regular white linens, which will be fine if i can't find anything else. I should have known better than to try and save a buck on someone with spotty reviews.

    I'm sure you'll b able to find someone to help you our with linens...  I'd just chalk the $50 up as a loss.  I did the linens through my venue, but I know that my florist (Liz from the Parsonage) does linens and I would recommend her.

    I have not tried to contact her since I got my sample and left her my deposit. She was a few weeks pregnant when I booked her I hope everything is ok.

    I need to send back the sample and get refunded for that since I dont need it anymore but that is minor compaired to what you are dealing with.

    Praying she gets back to you soon!

    I have heard she is terrible with communication but ends up getting it done.  I haven't used her though so I can't say from first hand experience.  

    I did use Liz from the Parsonage though and she was great!  I would highly recommend her.  She is very reliable and prompt with responses.  

     I know how hard it is to plan from far away.  We planned from Dallas.  Good luck!!

    She did a good job at my wedding. She is pregnant right now like previous posters have said. She would usually call me back a couple days later, but the week of the wedding was very prompt with answering any questions or calling me back.

    I used her just a few weeks ago for my October 22 wedding. I know that some have said she's not great with communication but throughout my engagement, she always got back with me the same day through email. I never had to wait for her for more than 24 hours. I was really happy with her. And my linens looked totally amazing.

    I did finally hear from her, and she didn't offer an apology or anything.  I find that the best way to get her to respond to you is to go through the form on her website. It's super annoying, actually. especially because the response i got from her was "we are all set, do you have a final count?"
