My dress - pre-alterations

Here is the dress I have.. the model doesn't do it ANY justice.. the bride makes it look FAB. I actually only paid $68 for it a few years ago to wear in my friend's wedding - but I ended up not being in the wedding.

My FI's mom is going to do my alterations and add my crystals and lace train.. and probably make my veil too.. But I'm in love with it all over again - after seeing these pics.

That dress is very pretty!

But I have a question...why would you choose a white dress to wear in a friend's wedding? Is that what the bride wanted?

It's ivory.. she chose it. Her colors were ivory and brown - the guys wore brown tuxes, the girls wore these ivory dresses and she wore white. It was really pretty - their accent color was sage.
