Let's hear 'em!

Confession: I had the world's most embarassing moment a few days ago and haven't told anyone the full story because it's so bad. But I guess I can tell you girls, haha. The day after the big ice storm, I went outside to bring my dog in (he's very stubborn and will stay out even if he's freezing). Went outside, door closed behind me, and the knob was frozen solid from the outside! No matter what I did it wouldn't open. Tried the gates, their locks were frozen shut. Tried to climb our fence, it was too slippery and I slid right back down.

So after about a half hour I start freaking out because no one is home to know I'm out there, and I don't even have my coat on so it's freezing! FI works close by anf FMIL lives literally five minutes away. But cell phone is inside, right? So I start screaming for help, and  aneighbor hears and comes out with a hammer and shovel and manages to bust the gate open. Finallly get back inside through the front of the house and go to text FI about what happened.

And guess where I find my phone? In my pants pocket.

Yep. I'm an idiot.

This totally came at the perfect time.

Vent:  I hate my apartment complex...completely hate it.  First it is in a less than spectacular area where we unfortunately chose to move because I was promoted last fall and had a week to secure a move across the state.  So with more time, we would have chosen elsewhere.  With me having lost my job just up the road that I made the move for it makes everything worse.  This is the smallest and most run down place I have lived in my life, they lied to us about certain feautres that should've been in our apartment. So many things have broken since we moved in, the heat, the toilet, the shower that wouldn't drain from day1, the leaky sink, the broken drawers and shelves in my fridge and probably more.  Well, lately I've had so many random people knock on our door during the day when FI is at school or work.  Anything from men from the electric company, to police questioning strange activity by our neighbors (oh yes lovely neighbors by the way), firefighters having us evacaute the building because someone smelled electrical burning (this was yesterday, nothing was wrong and everyone got to go right back in), or today they just knocked because heat is broken, again, so they were seeing if the issues were with wires in my unit. 
So it's bad enough that I truly can't stand most things about living here...but it makes me very uncomfortablet to have random men knock on my door in the middle of the day and enter my apartment when I'm home alone.  Maybe I'm crazy though.

Vent2: I went to a career fair for lifetime fitness sales positions a week and a half ago, things went so well so they brought me in for a formal interview last Tuesday and it went even better...they even ran a background check.  I missed his call Wednesday so I spent the reminder of Wednesday and all of Thursday trying to get in touch with him, adn even left 2 voicemails.  So, he finally called Monday to say they are still waiting on my background check but he is comfortable saying I have the job and we can begin paperwork as soon as that comes through.  Now, I'm just frustrated that the background check is taking forever and I can't start working or even say I have an employer until then which makes it very difficult to rent a new house or look into buying cars...both of which I'mtrying to do.

Sorry those are the 2 longest vents ever...I am just SO frustrated.

Vent: I have a huge exam tonight. ugh. annoying.

Confession: my kitchen is a wreck and i don't want to clean it i'd rather sit online and look at wedding stuff

Yesterday i woke up in a great mood until FI made me angry... so i hurried out the house to run errands and to get out of eye sight view of him (haha) and in my rage decided to not bother checking to see if the driveway was cleared and decided to use my little cobalt as a snow plow!..... needless to say it didn't work, i got stuck in the snow and had to go back in the house with my tail between my legs beggin Fi to help shovel me out While the city was plowing the streets, it buried the end of the drive way... but HONESTLY i didn't even see the snow! i was just trying to leave to get to the bank. well he was pretty irritated to have to come bail me out. he was NOT happy.

All is well now we love eachother again hahaha

confession...i have ZERO motivation to do any school work. I'm in week 7 of 10 and would rather do anything else but read or write up my papers.  I am going snowboarding tonight which is yes another distraction but the snow won't be here for much longer so I have to go while I can.

I found out this morning that one of my clients passed away suddenly.  She was such a sweet lady, and we really connected over multiple personal topics.  I had been getting irritated because she had not been responding to my emails, and it turns out that she was not responding to anyone's emails -  so her co-workers sent someone to check on her. It's awful and I'm really sad.

Confession!
I got to the gym early today to do some extra cardio. When i pulled up, i parked on a different side of the building I normally do, and i looked down the complex and realized that bridal store i have an appointment at next saturday was just down the plaza from the gym. I went into the bridal store and tried on one gown...by myself.
Im so gald i did it. It wasn't the one, but it was beautiful

I have 2 papers to work on for publications but I have zero motivation to do anything work related for the rest of the week.
