Your favorite detail!

Ok ladies this one is for fun, what is your favorite detail of your wedding planning so far? If you already had your wedding what was your favorite detail of the day and was it the same as what you thought it was going to be? Any pics would be cool too!

I'm super excited about our cake!  I can't wait to see how it turns out.  We are having a cake that feeds about 75, embellished with fondant flowers and real flowers on top and around the bottom layers, and then we are having close to 400 petite cupcakes for guests to pick and choose their favorite flavors from.  There is a tasting sometime this month where we can try a bunch of the flavors offered which should be really fun.

Umm either my dress or the chapel we are getting married in.  Love them both :)  No pics since I'm at work.

    I was most excited about:
    1. my dress
    2. all the little details I DIYed... escort cards, table numbers, display of family pics

At the wedding, I did not care at ALL about all those little details I DIYed.  I was so excited about my dress, and cake, and flowers.  The other stuff, ehhhh... it really didn't matter to me.

    Dress is in siggy.

So far it would have to be my dress.  I'm getting excited about possibly having a groom's cake and surprising hubby.

Well, I think one of my favorite details will be my dress when I get finished with it, LOL..........enough said.

Honestly, I am really looking forward to seeing all my tables set. I have so much DIY details for the table tops I can't wait to see it all set out.

Napkin, menu card and napkin "ring" above, on top of table runners made from teh same fabric as the ring bearer pillow below.......

    .....with the votive candles below.

The actual centerpieces will be swirled silver bowls, alternating tables with tall glass cylinders, all with cream colored roses alone, or with white Oriental Lillies, and silver willowy branches spray painted silver.

Just starting the planning process, but so far super excited about my center pieces. It'll be in a "fish bowl" with 4 different finished (matte, glossy, sprinkled glitter and dipped glitter) plum purple and burnt orange mini ornmaments with a silver candle! i think they're going to look beautiful!!
