I just wanted to share my freak out   2 Months.  2 short months and we'll be married ladies!

How are you guys doing?

Ah!  It barely seems real yet!  We went through and picked out our ceremony readings and our vows yesterday.  That was a strange feeling. 

Liz- I heard you mention mailbox stalking a few times and I think that this may be one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning so far!  We invited an old track coach from high school (who coached FI and I).  He is planning on coming!  It's exciting to think about who is going to be there!  It's also great to hear compliments about the invitations too  <-ego boost

Do you feel like you have alot left to do?  I'm really dreading the seating chart.  FMIL is already telling me the drama of her guests. "Don't sit Cindy next to Karen, they do not get along"  ugh..really?

Also, my shower is this weekend!!!  FI went out yesterday with the task of finding a matching tie. My dress is reds and pinks, he comes back with purple?!?!  Not sure if that was a hint that he didn't like my dress or maybe he thought purple was more manly than pink? 

Liz- I didn't comment on that post, but I loved your makeup!  Did you already do a hair trial?  Do you have all your jewerly, veil etc.?  I'm struggling with finding the right jewerly, maybe it will come together at my next fitting.

The next two months are going to FLY!!!

ahhh...I was trying not to think about it!!

I have soooo much to get done. I'm overwhelmed with where to start.

Our invites went out last week so that was exciting. We got our first RSVP card from our neighbors. We shared a bottle fo champagne with them to celebrate.  I'm picking out the flowers and finalizing everything with the hall on Friday. Saturday is hair/make up trials and shower/bachelorette parties so that will be fun. I fly home on Thursday.

Still at  loss for WP gifts except BM. They are done, but GM, parents, readers, FG, RB etc are stumping us.

Tomorrow our tickers will start with 1 month....

Mailbox stalking has officially become a hobby of mine.  It's the absolute first thing I do when I get home from work.  It's amazing to see how many people are excited about celebrating with us.  We had one of Todd's parents' friends rearrange their vacation schedule just so they could come to the wedding.  It's just truly humbling.

I feel like I have a lot of little stuff left to do that I can't really do anything about.  Calling to confirm vendors, printing ceremony programs, seating chart, escort cards, blah blah blah.

Have fun with your shower!  Are you guys having a couple's shower or is just for you?  Mine's not until May 1st so I've got awhile   But I'm excited because my my mom is flying in for it and one of my BMs might be in town that weekend for her brother's graduation so she may be able to make it!  ::fingers crossed::

I do have my jewelry but I'm just doing a bracelet and earrings so it was pretty easy to find.  The earrings are actually costume jewelry from my grandmother and we found a bracelet that matches really well.  I also have a haircomb that I plan on wearing as well.  My first fitting is next week so I'll probably bring everything to see it all together   So excited!

Good luck with all the rest that you have to do (especially the seating chart! eek!)

Jen- if you are looking for parent's gifts, we are thinking of doing handkerchiefs.  The lady that she used on etsy sells 4 for $44.  Its a small but sentimental gift.

My FI stood up in a wedding and got a soft cooler that was filled with speciality beer. Each guy got the cooler of his favorite team.  Not sure if that's what your GMs are into, but just an idea.

Liz- I don't think its techanically a couple's shower since only women are invited, but FI is coming the shower.  His mom was the one who wanted us to match.
