Wedding Planner?

Hi!
I'm planning my wedding in Frankenmuth for May 2012, and I'm considering a wedding planner.  What I'd like to know is:
What are your expierences with a planner?
How much can I expect to pay for some help (looking primarily for help confirming everything within the last few weeks and the day of wedding help)?
Has anyone worked with a planner in the Flint/Saginaw area, would you recommend them?

    I don't have any information for you but I will say I am for sure hiring a planner. They are so much help and worth the money.

    you may want to check the stickies out at the top... i believe some list planners.

    To go off of Klreese - check out the DOC recs.  It stands for Day Of Coordinator which is more popular than a full fledged wedding planner.  Although DOCs also do full wedding planning as well.

    I think a Day Of wedding planner is a great idea. I met one at a bridal show who charges $30 per hour.
