I have a wedding to attend this weekend. Wondering, does it look silly to wear "sandal-type" dress shoes, in the winter - let alone the snow? I've never been to a wedding in the winter. FI will drop me off at the door, but still... 

I have plenty of work dress shoes, but my dressy heels are not winter friendly. I know, I'm over-thinking it. Suggestions?

I like a closed toe heel for winter. I don't think many people will notice your shoes, and I see people wear open toe in winter, but I personally prefer a more wintery shoe. Good Luck!

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Women wear strappy sandals for New Year's Eve, and that's winter!

I'm with Alicia here.  I wear closed toe shoes in the winter.  And, IMO, sometimes it does look silly to wear sandal-type shoes in the winter --- but it depends on the type of shoe; some shoes scream "summer" a lot louder than others.
