I know you can do it online.... any specific sites have you/someone you know used? any idea how much it costs?

    No idea how much it costs but I know the most popular is universallifechurch.com or something like that.

    Liz is right! But I think it is .org.  I called the state of michigan and they are approved here too!  I think it is about 30 bucks or less!

    My husband got ordained from Universal Life Church at http://www.themonastery.org/. He married two friends of ours this past August.  I think he paid about $50 or $60, but that's because he got the "package" because he wasn't sure if he'd need to show proof of his ordination when he filed the marriage license at the county.

    Thanks everyone for the info. We have asked my FI's father to become one and marry us. He agreed, so we are very happy!! :)
