Hi Everyone ~

I just read the sticky that asked for new people to introduce themselves, so here it is...

 - I am 29 and live in St. Clair Shores
 - I work full time as an event planner
 - I attended University of Detroit-Mercy and University of Michigan
 - My fiance and I have been together for ten years and got engaged on 12-21-10
 - We are planning a May 12, 2012 wedding in downtown Detroit
 - I'm finding it incredibly difficult to select wedding colors
 - I'm a fan of the The Knot and am so excited to get to know everyone and share ideas, frustrations, triumphs and celebrations

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!  It's so fun that several others are so close to where I live

mrsbunyip - I am familiar with several venues that I have looked at.  The final three contenders are Atheneum, Colony Club and Book Cadillac.  I am meeting once more with all 3 on Jan 26 so HOPEFULLY a decision will be made shortly thereafter.
