Hi ladies!
I've been recovering for about 24 full hours now, and I'm doing pretty well (when I'm on the pain meds anyway
) I went into the hospital at 6 AM yesterday (which was a HUGE pain with all that snow we got), was all set up and into the operating room by 7:30, and was out in about a half hour! The doctor said it made it easier that my tonsils were small, since my real problem was the chronic irritation of the tonsils. I guess I freaked out a bit in recovery so they gave me an extra sedative, and I was able to leave the hospital by about 9:30 after having some juice.
I'm just home for this week resting up & hopefully will be able to go back to school next week. I might not be able to go back to work for two weeks though since it's more physically demanding and requires that we "call" our orders to the cooks.
