Gifts to the bridal party

What are you having to do for a gift for your ladies in your bridal party? For a wedding gift my mother bought me a very beautiful and special two piece jewerly set. It was custom made and I just love it! I was thinking about having to get the ladies a custom made bracelet. What do you think, would say yes or no for this idea?

Would you give each of them the bracelet for their birthday?  If so, it's a good gift.  If you don't think each of them will like it, I would pass on it.  Also, if you are asking for them to wear it on your wedding day, you should get them something else as well.  It's not really a gift if you are asking them to wear it for your wedding.

I agree with PP. I got my bridesmaids earrings to wear for the wedding. But I also got each of the 8 of them a personalized gift that I knew they would love. Examples: a pair of shoes I knew my MOH wanted, a jewelry box like one I have that my BM had commented she loved, a pie pan and apron for my BM who loves to bake, etc.

So far I am making each girl flip flops with Swarski(sp?) crystals on them for the reception. Thats all I got..lol
