white paper with black border for invitataions

I am thinking of doing my own invitations.  But I am having the hardest time finding paper to use.  Has anyone done their ow? what weight card stock did you use.  Also, does anyone know where I can find white paper with a black border to just print invitations on?  Thanks so much for all of your help in advance.

    I'd try looking at the Michaels/Hobby Lobby/Joanns type places for a kit to see if they have any you like (and use coupons to buy them). If you can't find what you're looking for you could DIY - there are several paper sites that sell precut things as well as cardstock if you're crafty and own paper crafting supplies. I used cardsandpockets.com but I've heard good things about paperandmore and one other place whose name escapes me right now.

    I bought a "Brides" invitation kit at Michaels...definitely recommend it.
