Under Gown Bustier

So I'm trying to pick the bra to wear under my gown and I'm not sure if I should get white or nude.  Does it make a difference?!?  My dress is an off white/pearl color so I was thinking nude.

Anyone have any advise for me??

i think i'd do nude because of the color of your dress. A bright white would definitely stand out if it accidently becomes visible.

Get nude.  If there is too much lighting or not enough space between the dress and your bustier it will be seen.  Try to find nude that matches your skin tone the best to avoid it being seen.

  I'm going with nude because of the reasons PPs stated and because I'm more likely to use it again if it's nude and goes with everything.

I'm not sure what your dress is like, but does it require a bra/bustier? Mine has a little one built in (but I'm tiny there and prob wouldn't need one anyway...TMI lol). I ask because when I tried on dresses I automatically assumed I would need one. If you have a more free form dress, then you will prob need one and I would go with a nude color as PPs suggest. Also, most times your alterations person can sew in cups for you, that way you don't have to worry about the dress possibly shifting and the bra showing.

no real advice on the color, but I just bought one from the Victoria's Secret outlet at Great Lakes Crossing for $10 If you are looking for a boustier, they have white and nude ones there for ridiculous cheap.
