Photographer for Detroit area

Help!  I am getting married in Metro Detroit but I am not from the area (I live about 2 hrs away)  I need help finding a photographer who will do decent work for less than 1,200.  I have looked at vendors on this site but i wasn't sure if anyone knew of any photographers in the area who might not be listed. Thank you

    Have you looked into Amanda Williams or Kreativ Imaging?  I know they are both around that price.  :)

    Call Mark at MPK Photo.  We're using him.  He's great and fits in that budget!

    I am using Craig David Butler (located in Northville) and I just love him! He's creative and extremely talented! My fiancee and I feel very comfortable going with him due to his keen business sense and nice personality in addition to his photographic genius :)  He's been voted one of the best photographers in the metro-Detroit area by the knot 3 years in a row.     I second Kreativ Imaging. He is reasonably priced and the quality of the photos are really good.

    I would second Amanda Williams. I am using her and she is awesome. She is near that price range that you are looking for. When are you getting married? She books up very far in advance so I'm not sure if she would be available but it's worth a shot. Good luck!

    I second, third, and fourth, Craig David Butler! 
    Their work is AMAZING. They are the BEST I've seen in the Metro Detroit area. A girl from college I knew hired them for her wedding and her pictures were absolutely stunning!!! I didn't know about them when I hired a photographer, but I wish I had. (Not that my photographer is bad in anyway...it's just a different style that I prefer).

    Try Casey Irey.  She has a studio in her house and does great, but affordable work.

    That's so funny emmie! I would hate anyone to think that I am bashing my photographer IN ANY WAY, because her work is very beautiful. 
    I also hired Casey Irey to do my photography. I really feel she needs to have some love from me too, because she does GREAT work. Like I said, she has a different style then CDB, but she is very affordable. She is definitely worth checking out!
    So my reviews:
    Craig David Butler: Glamorous with an edge. Very Modern.
    Casey Irey: Classy, Beautiful, softer image. More traditional.
    (if that makes any sense)

    Kellie Saunders out of Royal Oak is AMAZING and INCREDIBLY affordable.  Last time I checked, she had a few wedding dates still available for this year.  She does amazing work and is so much fun and totally personable.  She has a lot of great ideas and a natural eye for shots.  Her website is http://www.kelliesaunders.com/ .  From there you can go into her gallary pages.  My FI and I are lucky enough to be featured on her website and gallary pages :)
