Lutheran Churches?

Is anyone aware of any Lutheran churches in the area that will marry non-members?  We are not presently active members of a church in the metro area.

my FH and I considered for a minute to be married in a church, per his mothers request. I had called St. Marks Lutheran Church on 696 and Gratiot.
They seemed pretty open to having us come in and talk to them, even though i made it clear we were not active members. Give them a call. Its a beautiful church too.

It's not Lutheran, but my church First United Methodist in Birmingham will marry non-members.

My church, St. Matthew Lutheran is located in Westland and they marry non members.  I can send you information if you'd like and it's in the area you're looking for.

My church, St. Michael Lutheran in Canton (on Sheldon and Warren) will marry non members.

I don't know what are you are in, but I am a member at Trinity Lutheran on Hall Rd. and Van Dyke.  We had one of the pastors come out to our venue to do the ceremony, but a few friends got married in the church.

Not sure if this is too far away for you, but the Chapel of the Holy Trinity on Corcordia University's campus (in Ann Arbor) is absolutely gorgeous. It's a Lutheran university and they allow you to bring in outside pastors.

We were married at Trinity Lutheran in Wyandotte, and we are non-members. The fee was just a little extra, and we had to do pre=marital counseling for I think $35. It was actaully lots of fun. But I would not recommend a visiting Pastor. The one we had gave us hell about a lot of things, because the Lead Pastor was to be out of town on our wedding date.
