I just found out from my manager at work that I was approved for a store transfer, and I'm very relieved! The store I currently work at is an hour away from where we live, so it's a huge waste of time and money that I've been dealing with since moving in with my FI in August. My new store is only about a 20 minute drive! I'll be very happy to spend less money on gas, especially with the wedding coming up! I've felt guilty that I haven't been able to contribute more, so this should help.
Although I'm nervous because I tend to be fairly quiet as the new person. I should be used to it by now, since I've been the new person in Southfield, Dearborn, Taylor, and now Toledo...but somehow I always still have trouble breaking out of my shell. But hopefully my new co-workers are nice people.
