Has anyone used Sweet and Savory Bakeshop in Oxford? I am just wondering how their cake is before I decide to go to a bakery an hour away bc there will be a 95 dollar delivery charge.  I found the cake I love on their sight though.

    I haven't used them for a wedding, but I have had many of their cakes.  If you go with a standard plan cake with just a buttercream filling, it's ok, but if you get their fillings, it makes the cake!  They are always really moist and have a lot of great flavored cakes and fillings.

    On another note, you should be able to take a picture of the cake you love to a bakery of your choice and they should be able to make it or something similar.

    I'd have to agree with crhein26.  Definitely get it with their fillings if you are going to go there.

    I used them, you can see the review in my siggy.  I LOVE them, I agree, you have to get their fillings.  I found a picture online and brought it in and she duplicated it for me and it looked amazing.  I did their raspberry marmalade filling and each tier was alternated with vanilla and chocolate chiffon.  Mmmmmm.  I wish I lived closer to Oxford so I could have their cake more.
