NWR Houses

So I checked the nest first but it didn't have any help on this so I'm hoping you ladies can help a bit.  I just was offered a job in Troy but I'm currently living in Ann Arbor, so FI and I are looking to move to the Troy/Rochester area asap.  We are looking to rent a house, not an apartment.  We would consider buying but FI still has a little over a year of school left and we want to find out where his first job is before we fully settle down somewhere.  Other than Craig's List, does anyone know of any good sites to find rental houses?

You can try zillow.com and realtor.com and filter by rentals.  You can also find houses for rent on real estate websites such as century21, etc.

Go to debbiedeangelo.com, click on the map, zoom in to your area, and make the maximum $10,000.  It'll come up with a bunch of rental properties in the area.

I know you said you want Troy/Rochester... but would you consider Royal Oak.  There are a lot of houses for rent there right now.  Good little 2-3 bedroom bungalows any where from $675- 1300..
