Romuls Activity Center and Marriot in Ypsi at Eagle Crest - Info needed

Hi ladies,

Has anyone been to a wedding or had a wedding at the Romulus Activity Center or the Marriot Hotel in Ypsilanti at the Eagle Crest?  The website does not list the cost of any packages.  I'm going to email both companies, but figured I'd ask on here as well.  How was the staff?  Both places have a wall of windows - did this effect pictures poorly?  Any info will be appreciated!

I haven't worked with either place but I'm going with the Troy Marriott.  I'd guess the chain has a pretty standard package.  So far I've had great service (a Marriott signature) and everyone has been really friendly.  The basic package includes white or ivory linens, cake, 2 appetizers, dinner w/ salad, and a four hour bar.  Also centerpieces if you want hurricane globes w/ candles, or you can do your own.  For this the price runs $60 - $70 a person. Hope that helps!

I priced out the Eagle Crest, and a standard package without a bar is around $60-$70 per person. Once you add in a 6 hour bar, you are over $100 per person.

Thanks so much for your responses.  I wish the hotel wasn't so expensive.  It's so beautiful.  I'm going to call about the Romulus Activity Center.  Maybe it'll be much more inexpensive.  Got a bride on a budget here
