Halls in Metro Detroit Between $20-$25 p/p

Hi ladies...

A friend of mine is getting married in Summer 2011 and is looking to book her reception hall.  She is on a tight, lower budget and is looking for halls that charge approx. $20-$25 per plate (alcohol included, if possible).  Metro Detroit Area, preferably Macomb or Oakland County.

Appreciate your input. TIA.

Susie

Zuccaro's at 16 and Grosebeck is giving me Saturday night for 25/pp with standard bar and 3 meat buffet. (that's before tax/gratuity). If you go with a Friday night or Two meat buffet it's even cheaper!

This is a little higher than that price range, but it's an all inclusive package. We're having ours at Barnstormer Banquet in Whitmore Lake. It's around $32 pp, but that inc a 4 entree' buffet, alcohol, DJ, cake, late night pizza snack, they have center pieces you can use, colored napkins, appetizers, champagne toast for head table, and the people there are REALLY nice and helpful. Just a thought, it's saving us money..

We're using Fern Hill in Clinton Township.  The package we chose is not in that budget, but I did just see something on their website that advertises a 2 meet buffet and premium bar on a Friday night for $24.99/person.  They've been great so far with my wedding.

Tell her to try Metroparks if she is interested in a wedding off one of the beaches. I think they are $25 - $35 and she can provide her own drinks to keep cost down.

We are using DeCarlo's in Warren.  Our packages is a buffet, with full bar for 6 hours, with chair covers, three meat buffet (or you can only get two meats and they will put sashes on the chairs in your color), tossed salad, pasta choice, veggie choice, rice/potato choice,  pasta salad, cottage cheese, veggie tray w/ dip, dinner rolls, and coffee/tea.  Its quite a lot of food.  We received some discounts and received it for around $25 or $26/per person before taxes/fees.  Thats for a Saturday night.  A Friday night is a little cheaper.

Also try Red Fawn in Allen Park, price is slightly higher but includes absolutely everything from food, to cake, to invitations, to DJ, some decorating.... that is for a Friday wedding, not sure of Saturday prices I think $10 more p/p

St. Mary's Cultural Center in Livonia is between $20-$25pp but it doesn't include bar or alcohol.  You can bring in your own liquor and then they charge $2.95pp for the bartender, glasses, ice, etc.  I've heard nothing but great things about the venue, service and food.
