My FIRST RSVP came in today!! Yay!! :)

My MOH finished making my shower invitations and says she plans on mailing them by this weekend.

Last night I bought an engagement picture outfit. I know we're a little late getting on the bandwagon.  And I also tried to dye my crinoline again. I officially give up, after three different crinnys and 3 different dye tries, I have now decided to just go with white. It must be meant to be. My tub is now purple and I have little bleach spots in my carpet from getting purple dye on my carpet.  FYI: Rit's "Navy Blue" is not navy, it's a dark purple.

FI and I went ring shopping tonight.  I had to give the jeweler my e-ring because I have a loose diamond! BOOO! I really feel naked now. A diamond fell out of my graduation ring my parents bought me and I handed that over too. :(

FI is going to add some sapphires to the sides to match my ring.


I can't wait to get them!! We are using the same designer that made my engagement ring.

    We will take our epics on next Sunday, the 20th. We still need to decide locations and inside/outside. I'm trying to see what the weather will offer us.

    An RSVP how exciting!! Did the crinolines pick up any color? I would love to dye mine black, but I really don't want to end up with gray. I love the sapphire touches. My ring is a sapphire!!

    Yes, the crinoline turned out to be a pale purple, almost a pastel. I would think it depends on the material of the crinny fo how much color it will pick up. I guess that's my lesson learned, the top part of my crinny (elastic) turned dark purple and picked up the most color.  I searched to buy a navy blue crinoline this morning after deciding I shouldn't dye my carpet anymore :) and found a site that sells them. I actually saw a black one and they have most colors.     My engagement ring had sapphires in it. I originally chose them because they are both of our grandmother's birthstones. Their birthdays are/were 8 days apart. I was apprehensive about adding sapphires to my wedding band too as I didn't want it to take away my sentamentalism.

    Congrats lady great checks. You are really cranking them out! Love the rings and sucks about the crinny. That reminds me I need to take my ring in but I still cant bare to be without it again so I will put it off a little while longer.

    You have made some great progress this week!  Have fun stalking the mailbox.  Don't worry you will have your ring back soon.  I had to take mine in twice to get sized and it felt so weird to not have it.  I wore my grandmas anniversary ring during that time so that I didn't feel to weird.
