Favor ideas

I'm debating about doing a favor or everyone or a candy buffet.
I love the candy buffet idea but i sorta feel like it isn't really a favor, but more of a fun thing at the reception.
So i was thinking my mom, sister, and I can DYI Bride and Groom chocolate covered strawberries... each person would get one of each.
So.. what do you think?

I picked Candy buffet. I cant imagine worrying about all those strawberries the night or two before my wedding. I think Id already be stressed with last minuete things.

I voted both but with a disclaimer: chocolate covered strawberries are yummy, but a PITA to make. My sister works at edible arrangements and sometimes spends hours a day making them. They can melt and usually one day after they are made, the juice from the strawberry starts to leak out. Edible favors are always a good idea. If you like chocolate covered strawberries, maybe chocolate covered pretzels would be a good substitute. Plus, they can be made in advance.

We are only doing the candy buffet for our guests. Any wedding Ive ever been to there are always tons of favors just left on the tables at the end. THis way people can pick what they like and if they even want one.

I didn't think about that, you're so right!

rcj2rcd- that's a good alternative. I'm familiar with the juice inside which is why i planned to do it the day before. but that would be a lot of stress like missmelanie said.

</div><div>Yeah, I voted for both because I liked the idea of cute bride & groom chocolate BUT what if people prefer fruity candy over chocolate or what if they don't like candy at all? With a buffet people get options and get to choose what they want. [:</div>

I chose the chocolate covered strawberries. 1. I love them myself 2. I think the bride and grooms would look cute 3. I priced out a candy buffet and found it to be too expensive for my budget

As an alternative I would do the chocolate covered pretzels. That's what I'm having at my bridal shower for favors.

I am doing a candy/cookie buffet and a photo booth. I say the more the merrier. If you don't mind the work.

Thanks ladies. I talked with Fi last night and he's actually prefer the candy buffet. He says it'll just be too much work for me to do the strawberries before the wedding. He's right :(
Maybe i can do them for the shower. I wouldn't need as many and it'd be less stress.
