Confession-

I am officially a registry stalker!
We just registered on Sunday, but I seriously look at it every day!! LOL My mom already bought something off of it and I posted where we registered on FB so people might start buying

Registry stalking is fun.  :-)

However, I would advise against posting your registry info on FB.  I assume that all of your FB friends are not invited to the shower/wedding.  And posting registry info might bring on the "am I (or why aren't I) invited?" questions.  I know that people want to know where you're registered, but FB doesn't feel like the best way to communicate that IMO.

Vent!!

So one of my friends got engaged last weekend and she advised me that she is going to set the date for a weekend before my wedding! And it's going to be in Grand Rapids! I really don't want to be in GR a week before my wedding!I've been planning my wedding for 1.5 years and why couldn't she pick a different date!! OK i'm done...i'm sure it will all work out!

Vent - every time I ask my FI for an opinion on what he likes or what vendor we should hire for our wedding, he says we should just do whatever/hire whoever his sister had at her wedding last year. Why would I want my wedding to have the same officiant, band, photographer, and food as his sibling's recent wedding?!

He's getting a bit better, but seriously, the next time I tell him how much something is going to cost for the wedding and his response is, "Hold on, let me text X and see how much she paid for that", I might lose it. I've kept everything very reasonably priced and am much more aware than him of the average cost for different types of vendors and items.

This would REALLY annoy me! Good Luck!

My photographer just informed me that she moved to North Carolina and is going to need payment prior to the wedding day (as in our contract) to be able to book her travel. Um did I book a non-local photographer? Is is my fault you don't have money to book a plane ticket to fulfill your obligations? I am so frustrated!

Absolutley not.  This is not your responsibility to pay for her travel arrangements.  Your contract states wedding day so that is when you will pay her.

I know, I am so torn between going off on her and keeping a good relationship until after the wedding.

That's true.  What an awful position to be in.  Hopefully it works its way out soon!

Vent- I just wasted my last 2 days at work because an undergrad contaminated a protocol I was doing and wasn't able to see the contamination until I took a UV picture of the result today (its like that for this protocol every time).  I was very angry at him to say the least.  My boss is putting him on probation and if he doesn't get his act together he's leaving the lab; no good med school recommendation for him.
