Curious how you optimized your paper usage for your invites - I also asked in the thread below.

Did you just print off one insert per piece of 8 1/2 x 11?  Can you share the templates you used if you were able to fit multipl inserts on one piece?

Oops sorry I didn't see your question :)

For the invitation and the two tallest inserts (Accomodations & Reception), I could fit two per page.  The two smallest (RSVP and Rehearsal Dinner) I could fit four.

I designed all my inserts in Publisher so I didn't need to set up a printing template.  I could just set the print options to print 2/page without any gaps in between the two images.  For example, it would print like this (only with margins around the side) even though the original file only had one:

Or 4 per page (I'm not sure why the flourishes are being weird but you get the idea):

What program did you use or do you plan on using to create your invites?  If it's Publisher, create the file to the size you need it to be.  So rather than 8.5" x 11", create it to to be 5"x7" or 3.5" x 5" or whatever the case may be.

Although for the RSVPs since I customized each one, I did it a little different.  I created an 8.5" x 11" template with 4 RSVPs on the page then customized each of the four then printed it.  I repeated this until I got through my guestlist.

I feel like I did a terrible job explaining this but it really was easy :)

this is awesome thank you!  I have just been using Word to do a mockup, but am trying to recruit my FI to help with the actual process :)  I will pass this along to him!
