Where to take my mom dress shopping

My mom is in from FL for my shower, and wants me to take her dress shopping.  Her budget is real tight, so we will prob skip the bridal salons.  So where else would you knotties recommend?

Try Macys or Parisian - they both have a great selection of MOB dresses and always have good sales. I was at Macys this weekend and noticed they had a lot of dresses on clearance from the winter/formal event line.

I would think it would be too late for Bridal Shops (aside from Davids) anyway. I would stick to mall locations like PP mentioned.

In Garden City, there is a bridal shop called Eva's. They have a discount store right next to the actual bridal shop that has all of their last season stuff deeply discounted that you can buy off the rack. My grandma got her dress there for 75 bucks.

Do you know if Eva's has headbands also?? I find it so hard to pay 100+ on a headband for one day! Thanks
