Rec where to buy fresh rose petals budget friendly

I want to sprinkle fresh red rose petals on the tables and need a budget friendly place to get them from. I called Thrifty Florist and they quoted me $25 for a large box, but I was gunna see if you knowledgeable knotties knew of anything better.(Whew, what a tounge twister!)

I'm not sure how true this is...but I read somewhere that you're a lot better off in terms of cost buying roses and tearing the petals off yourself (or having someone help you).  Something to think about.

I got petals from FlyBoyNaturals.com  It was absolutely the best price I could find.  The petals looked great, came right when they were supposed to, and stayed fresh looking as long as we needed them to.  The website is a little tricky to navigate, but the product and service is good!

The petals they sell are actually freeze dried, but that way they will stay longer.  They didn't feel dry or flaky at all.  And, they said to plump them up further, you could put them in a steamy bathroom the day of or before you'd be using them.

costco and sams club are about $13 for 2 dozen.  somethimes they look great and sometimes they look like they have been there for a while.

My florist threw a bag of fresh petals in with my order. The bag was enough to line two sides of the aisle.

Also, if you are willing to go with "ivory" instead of white you save money.
