That your fiance has gotten you (besides the ring of course!)?

Mine- A heating pad. Sounds silly I know, but a few months ago I was having horrible cramps one night, he works midnights, but when he got home at 3am, he had a heating pad, a box of midol and a candy bar for me. I love this man! Of course the midol is gone and the candy bar, but that one week a month that every woman hates, is made a bit easier cause of him being so thoughtful. I think it was the sweetest thing someone has ever done for me.

aww that is really sweet!  I understand- I bought a heating pad and I love it!  FI has done good with gifts.  He got me some nice sunglasses a few years ago and a winter ski coat for Christmas one year.  The best thing about those gifts is that I loved them and he picked them out to my taste perfectly!  I still use both of them.

What about Valentines day gifts?  Do you or do you not exchange?  We usually don't but FI got a new job so I bought him a U of M candy jar for his desk.  He loves candy, so its perfect and just something small.

Sentimental: He got me earrings with his birthstone and mine (sapphire and diamonds), but they ended up on the ground and someone ran them over.  Also a heart locket.  

Non-sentimental: My computer (Christmas 2009), and my laptop (Christmas 2010)!

He always does good! he got me charlie, my kitty this past christmas so obviously I loved that!  But he's also gotten me my ipod for my birthday because my old one broke but the best was this awesome perfume he got me for our first christmas together.  It was funny I was just talking about how much I loved that perfume and he said "yea this girl at a party smelled really good so I asked her what perfume she was wearing and I bought it for you"

My FI knew I really wanted a Kindle but wouldn't spend the money on it, so he bought me one "just because".  :P

FH got me and IPod touch for christmas 2010. He has bought me 3 Coach purses. For my 25th bday this past year he got me a LV purse. He is the best gift giver!!!!!

Kind of a sentimental gift for me.  I was obsessed with Friends in college.. owned all 10 seasons, watched them all the time.  I had an evil roommate my last semester of grad school who borrowed one disc out of Season 4 and "lost" it.... I was so pissed!  Very early on when we were dating Fi surprised me with a new Season 4 because I couldn't bring myself to buy the whole season for just one disc!

Ooo I think that would have to be my cat.  He was my birthday present last year, even though he's technically "ours" of course.  I am quite partial to the nook he bought me for my birthday this year too though.

My favorite and best gift received from my FI was for my 26th birthday, he made me a scrapbook.  It as only the frist 5 pages but still the fact he went and bought everything and put it together was so sweet and thoughtful.  He had been dating just under a year at that point.  Everything he has ever bought (or made) for me has been wonderful and thoughtful.  He has also made me chocolate covered strawberries (i think about 4 times) which are my favy!! him!!

I know that sounds like the sort of gift a guy would give just because he wanted to use it, but I'm the one who actually plays some video games and cares about high-def quality.

@LISA --- hahahahhahahahha that is AWESOME that he went up to someone and asked what perfume they were wearing!

Anyway, I would say my digital camera. When I was a Freshman at CMU I spent a lot of time volunteering so for Christmas that year I sold my camera to pay for gifts for friends and family. I had never thought about spending the money to buy myself a new camera so he bought me one last year for my birthday without me even saying a thing! (That's my favorite thing about receiving gifts.. when someone gets something you could totally use and you don't even ask for it) I absolutely love taking photos - capturing memories. :-)

My FI got me an amazing sword.  My FI and I do martial arts so I LOVE playing with it (not against anything, just doing forms and such).  He also built me a computer that is perfect.
