Stressed and I have even began yet

Hi all..
Our wedding is planned for april 30,2011 and that all i do know....We are buying a house ( offer accepted and waiting for final FHA inspection) my brother and his wife have first child due in 5 weeks... ( AWESOME) I work 32 hours a week take 7 credits this semester and have wedding to plan with no clue.....

Can i just have it at the new house hire a taco truck get some coronas an equally awesome DJ and be done...lol.. 100-125 people and i am thinking cake, hor derves, and wine... dont have a clue as to ceromony site ( church not an option) or reception.. and its still early...

Ah well... at least at the end of it I can be the Mrs  and he will be my Mr.... 267 days and counting

    I've found wedding planning is only as stressful as you make it.  Remember, at the end of the day, it's just a party.  You will have the same results if you go to the courthouse so anything other than you, your fiance, an officant, and a marriage license is just extra.

    Ditto pp. I've had many a breakdowns and at the end of the day, it's not really worth it. It should be a happy time! If people ask if they can help, utilize that! I got to a point where I realized I can't do everything. I like to think I can, but I can't. I'm also going to school to get my MBA, work 40+ hours a week, and we just moved into a new house. Trust me, it can be done!

    Good to know it can... I have 5 sisters so i know i can get help i just gotta not hold on to that Bleeping planner book like its life and death..lol

    LOL I like your taco truck idea.  That made me laugh.  But seriously though, you could totally make that happen.

    PP have good advice.  All I would add is to stay as organized as possible.  You still have plenty of time to plan, so try to break it down month by month and set goals for yourself.  And the sooner the better - I don't know from experience but it seems like things will be more stressful if you leave them until closer to the actual day.  If you can get things out of the way, you'll be less stressed for it.

    I'm all about the backyard reception....laid back and fun! Its all what you want out of the day though...everyone is super helpful here so we will look forward to watching your plans unfold :~)
