Outdoor/Beach wedding in Michigan

Good People!

We just started planning our wedding. I'm looking for reasonably priced OUTDOOR ceremony and reception spots. I'd like the ceremony to be along Lake Michigan somewhere, preferably on the beach, and I'd prefer the reception to be outside, beneath a tent, somewhere nature-y.

However, I'm on a strict budget! lol I really don't want to get married in the basement of a pizza hut or something sad like that.

Anybody have any ideas or experiences they can share???

    Welcome Emily. There are boards for Grand Rapids and Northern Michigan which might be better for you. Most of us are in metro Detroit.
