FH and I booked our reception venue today! Do I have any venue twins? I am SO excited, I fell in love with the location as soon as we arrived. I can't wait!!

We are considering this location also...it is closer to our home (we live in Davison) but my family all lives in the Detroit area, so I am also partial to having it in the Metro Detroit area as well!

What stood out about it? (I haven't been inside yet, only looked at photos)

For us, loaction was big. The ceremony will be in Fenton and family is close. Also, they work with a hotel to reserve a block of rooms and to set up a guest shuttle, to and from the reception. It was the only venue within 30 mins of the chuch that had that. The inside is gorgeous, and HUGE. We'll have room for all of our tables (we have about 150 guests), plus room for some cocktail tables near the bar. Kerri, the events coordinator is fantastic. She has been very prompt in answering all of our calls and e-mails which makes me comfortable and confident that it'll be easy to work with her as the day gets closer. As far as fees, they vary depending on which day you have your wedding. If you have a peak season saturday wedding there is a $10,000 minimum that you must spend on food/drinks on top of room rental fees, linens, and decorations. However, if you want to have an off-season or Friday wedding, they are currently running a $49/person special. It's definiely worth checking out. I fell in love in the parking lot!
