Favorite thing about wedding planning so far: I love it all.  I thought I would hate it when I first started but I seriously love it   My mom always told me that I needed a hobby and now I have one.  She also tells me that I will be extremely bored come May 22.

Also Barb - I didn't get the Operation Abored message so maybe it just comes and goes?  I'll send an e-mail to KA to find out why this keeps happening.  It's getting a bit ridiculous.

Favorite thing about wedding planning so far:  Finding out that Bri is actually psyched to be a part of it.  I plan events for a living so I'm thrilled to not be doing this one all on my own.  Plus I've met only wonderful vendors so far...fingers crossed that it keeps up

Also, do you have any questions?  YES.  Is there a way to see themed bios? (like purple weddings, Maggie Sottero brides, etc)  Also, if I were to post something like "Does anyone know anything about Affordable Elegance?"...is that considered obnoxious or okay?  I'm just trying to avoid having to go through pages and pages of sticky responses, to answer little questions like that.

Favorite thing about wedding planning so far:  My favorite part so far was asking my uncle/Godfather to be our officiant. He's a minister/undercover narcotics officer so this man is never at a loss for words.  We dropped the question and there was dead silence on the other end of the phone.  I thought we had a bad connection, but no.  He was speechless and started to sniffle a bit. So cute!

If you are posting a question about a vendor, you typically should check the 3 stickies at the top of the page first.  If those don't answer your question or if it creates more questions, by all means create a post.  But I would recommend you have specific questions (ie:  vendor reviews, costs, etc.) and also mention that you've checked the stickies - so you don't get the canned response of  "Check the stickies!"

The only time things can get annoying is when there are like 5 posts asking to "recommend your DJ!" in the first 2 pages.  It hasn't happened all that often lately but it used to be a big problem (hence the creation of the stickies.)

For "themed" wedding pages - check TK's main pages rather than people's bios (it's easier to search this way.)
