another nightmare!

Hi Ladies,

I am 4 days away from the alter! No surprise, I suppose, that I had a wedding nightmare last night! I had to share though.

I was a the reception, and my hair was a hot mess- falling out, ratted 80's style. So I went to the bathroom to fix it and dropped my veil in the sink. It was soaking wet and ruined. Then I looked down at my hand and I was wearing some gross, tarnished ring. My mom told me that we had forgetten the rings at the ceremony, and some old lady gave me hers to use. And my FI didn't have one at all. Then I realized that I didn't remember ANY of the ceremony; i had completely blacked out for the whole thing. wtf!

I have been feeling pretty calm the last few days, so maybe this is my body's way of relileving stress? All I know is when I woke up, I was so relieved that it was all just a dream!

aww... I'm sure you're wedding will go smoothly!  It is good that you are staying calm.

We're finishing week 6 of our wedding prep through the church and I had a dream that we changed religions to get married without all the classes!  Not as crazy, but it's werid how these things sneak into your subconscious

I had a wedding nightmare last night too! Mine go the same way pretty much every time, where all I have done for the wedding is literally what I have done right now. My wedding isn't until September, so I haven't made place cards, bought shoes/accessories, etc. So it's always the day of the wedding and there are a million things that were never done and I'm freaking out while all of the guests are waiting.

I had a wedding nightmare last night too! My fiance's mother passed away in December.  She knew that he had bought a ring and was set to propose and she gave him her blessing...BUT, in my dream I went to Church with her and her sister and a group of my ex-friends showed up.  They were taunting me and we ended up arguing. Then my FI's mother walked away.  I was so scared that she didn't want me to marry her son anymore...and was disgusted with me.  I ran around the entire church looking for her and trying to get her blessing back.

I actually had one this weekend. For some reason, we decided to get married in my Aunt and Uncle's basement and we were setting up and we realized we forgot to buy candy for the candy buffet, so we were seaching the house for any candy and put it in like one of those dishes you would put veggies and dip in..lol. Needless to say, when I woke up I wrote myself a reminder note in my wedding stuff to buy candy buffet items:)
