Bridal Shower Games

Does anybody have any recs for websites or (know of any good) bridal shower games at. I looked at the ones here on the knot, but they weren't impressive. Thanks :)

Have you looked on the wedding party board? I know they frequently have posts about games. I would think about your guests and size of the shower when considering a game and/or the type of game. Personally, I don't care for games, but the guests at my shower like them. Since it's a bigger shower, we are doing a quick trivia game.

For my sister shower last summer we played a game about "how well do you know the bride and groom" and to answer the questions i had her and him answer the questions about one another. Ex- he answered her HS name, she answered his HS job, etc.. it was a lot of fun! and funny to see how many silly ones they got wrong! :)

We did a few others but i can't remember them... i searched "wedding shower games" on the internet and got a lot of ideas from there.

I've used the baby shower board before . so using the wedding shower/party board is a great source of info.

My sister is planning my shower.  She is planning on doing bingo.  You can find blank bingo cards online and then the guests fill them in with items that they think will be recieved.  When that gift is opened, then they can check it off their bingo card.

She is also doing "toliet paper bride" you have to make a wedding dress out of toilet paper.  I've also heard of a purse scavenger hunt. Similar to real scavenger hunt but through your purse.  Each item has a point value and the person with the most points wins.  The list typically includes some standard stuff and then some really odd things too for more points.

    Hope this helps!

Instead of games you can set a timer during the gift opening and give a "prize" to the gift giver. This has been done at larger showers to keep the guests interested during the long gift opening portion. Sometimes real games just drag out the shower and make them seem like they are taking forever.

if you are set on doing games, one my FMIL suggested:

Get a tray of random items, have someone tell your guests that the object of the game is to test their memory.  Then you walk around with the tray of items and guests think they need to remember everything on the tray.  Then you leave the room.

The facilitator then asks tons of questions about you (how was your hair styled, what color was your shirt, etc)
