Some Good News!! Yay!!

NO MORE CRUTCHES!!!!!

Doc wants me to walk around, ( don't really think that he meant getting back to it by hiking Chicago this weekend, but oh well, what's done is done) and the only therapy I have to do is on my own!! I can go back to working at the country club when they open in March -- this is a big deal, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to.  So here is my YAY after my depressing post last night. That and my son absolutely adored the fire engine hat I brought him from our trip and I feel much refreshed after three days out of state. Definitely came at a good time.

Thank you all for your T's and P's. There is a cycle to life, that's all. The last three years have been the baby booms, so this was coming soon. And cmkuno - it's not that I think there is something wrong with the JOP, I just wanted to have everyone join us for our celebration, and a JOP with a dinner at a restaurant is about the only thing I would be able to afford or put together on super short notice, if it came down to it.

Terri, I totally understand wanting to have everyone there for your wedding -- I feel the same way.  I was just trying to help you see the bright side of having a JOP wedding, that's all.  Hopefully everything works out and you get to have the wedding of your dreams, but if it doesn't it will still be okay!  I think the most romantic wedding I ever saw was a family who got married in our courthouse.  I held their baby while they said their vows, and afterwards, everyone went to Pizza Hut.  And they could not have been happier about it!  It just makes you see that it's being married that's important; how that happens, not so much.
