The Boudoir Loft-Rochester, Michigan

I'm still reeling over my photo shoot over the weekend.  I wasn't sure what I was going to get my fiance for his wedding gift until I found The Boudoir Loft doing some online research.  I got an immediate response back from Kim Williams, the photographer, and we set everything up within the next week.

I am certainly not the most comfortable with the thought of baring it all for the camera, so I was incredibly nervous up until I arrived.  Kim sat with me the entire time I was getting my hair and makeup done (by a fabulous artist) to help direct what look she wanted and just to chat.  Probably 5 minutes after the process began, I was no longer nervous.  And you must get the hair/makeup session included in your package, it really makes all the difference.  So much so that I'm booking them for my wedding day makeup.  These girls know what they're doing!

The actual photo shoot flew by.  It is obvious that Kim is a seasoned pro, she knew what she wanted from me before I even completed my changes.  The great part of the session is that she shows you the photos as she goes along so there is no second guessing the quality of her work.  I must've viewed at least half of the shots and I think the total amounted to 4 times what the package guaranteed.

I have never felt more beautiful than I did with my gals at The Boudoir Loft.  I cannot wait to see the final products and the look on my fiance's face when he opens the book.  THANK YOU!

Welcome Noodle.  Tell us more about yourself!  How old are you, when is the wedding, where is it?  How did you and your fiance meet?  Who are some of your other vendors?

It's not that I don't believe you that you had a good experience, it just looks extremely fishy when a person's first and only post is a RAVING review of a vendor.  Makes us think the vendor is posing as a bride which is a big no no and will get you banned from the knot.

So...introduce yourself!  Join in on the other conversations!

No problem!  I'm 30 years old and getting married at Twin Lakes Golf & Swim Club in Oakland Twp. on June 24, 2011.  That place will also be getting rave reviews from me after the big day considering all of the great experiences I've had with them so far, especially their wedding coordinator, Rebecca Williams.  I lovingly refer to her as "Number One."

Check out our website at www.theknot.com/ourwedding/KenSygit&NikkiStephan for all of the personal details and tons of photos.  The vendors I am using so far are AAVA Photography, Viviano Flower Shop, All About Elegance, Inc. (chair covers/table runners), Home Bakery, Brides by Demetrio's, President Tuxedo, and Shampoo Bleu.  My ceremony/cocktail hour musicians are a jazz band called the Rivertroons and reception band is Rythym Method.  Both are out of St. Clair County.

Please feel free to ask any questions of my vendors and I will let you know the experiences I've had thus far.

Thank you!  You're right, under 4 months already.  The anxiety is building, but all good nerves (mostly).  I hope you have a wonderful run all the way to the altar!
