The reception, so basically location, food and drinks. It is 75% of my budget!!

We splurged on linens and uplighting.  I thought they would make a huge difference in the environment at the reception, and I was right.

Probably my dress. It was definitely a splurge but everything else we're trying to find good deals or DIY.

We splurged on a last-minute videographer...and I am VERY glad we did!!

A wedding planner.  She wasn't in our budget or plans, but we are going to book her.  I fell in love at first meeting.

We are going to book a Photobooth..It wasn't until last weekend Fi realized how cool they are and we're planning on doing it instead of favors. It will be way more than what favors would cost, but in my opinion worth it. I just need to check with our venue to make sure they 'll have a place to put it before we book anything.

I suppose the reception since its 1/3 of our budget but I think that's pretty typical for a dinner/drinks type reception.

My dress was a big splurge even though it wasn't outrageous but I was hoping to spend less. Ah well I love it.

FI splurged on my ring, in my opinion. Is it terrible to say I'm glad he did?

We haven't technically splurged on anything yet, But I think it will be linens. Everything else is pretty budget friendly, but I have a vision and I don't really want to compromise it...though we'll see if I'm still singing that tune in 8 months!

Our photog was up there in price.  But I love her work and quality photography was one of the most important things for me, so we decided to go for it!
