White Lake Oaks

Does anyone have any experience with White Lake Oaks Golf Club as a ceremony/wedding venue?  I've heard rave reviews about Oak Management's other venues (Addison Oaks and Glen Oaks), but I can't find any reviews for White Lake.

Hi! I had my first wedding there in 2007. The management there is really good! I got sooo many compliments on the food. Even if you don't want a buffet i recommend it. Food was great, drinks were great! It's not too popular around this board, but i think it's really nice and elegant! Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply, amyn!  I've heard really good things about the food, and the buffet does look qutie lavish.  Did you end up getting any "extras" (like hord'oeuvres, dessert, etc?)  Did you do a lot of decorating in the hall or did it look nice all on its own?  I appreciate your feedback!

Oh no prob! Like I said, it's a wonderful place, just not too popular on this board. We did just the cheese and fruit hor'doeuvres and just our cake...we really only decorated the tables, cake and gift tables...the room doesn't really need too much decoration, it's so beautiful! the tall ceilings and the large windows really make it look amazing!
