Craft Store??

Hi Detroit Knotties!

I'm usually on the Lansing board since that's where the wedding will be but I live out here so I was hoping you guys could help me!

I'm using the David's Bridal color Serene that was recently retired and they're all out of 1" ribbon. It's just a simple shade of blue but is IMPOSSIBLE to find anything close! I've tried Joann's, Michael's and Hobby Lobby - nothing.

I seem to remember hearing about some big giant craft store out here somewhere while ago but now I can't figure out what/where it was. Do any of you know what I might be talking about?

Even if not, do you know of other places around here with a large selection of ribbon that might be promising?

You might be thinking of Flower Factory, but they closed down.  I can't think where else they would have ribbon besides those places...

There's Crafts 2000. It's in Monroe, about 30-40 min south of Detroit. I was just there today!

There is one in Warren, off of 10 Mile, called Discount Crafts and Florals.  I've been told the more you buy, the cheaper it is.  There is an entire isle of ribbon, good luck!

Crafts 2000 is awesome I am doing almost all my wedding shopping there and they are having a sale on bridal stuff right now. you can check it out at www.crafts2000online.com

The one in Centerline that Zulamay is refering to is called Dealer's Discount Floral. It's on the north side of 10 Mile Rd, just east of Van Dyke. They have TONS of ribbons, silk flowers, fabrics, wedding related stuff. They are open Mon-Sat, rough hours are something like 10 am - 6 pm. I LOVE THEM !!!!

If there are also things you are looking for wedding related, those are in the last 2 aisles farthest away from the entry door.
