Yes, I will still be wearing a dress I make, and I have even gone so far as taping together the patterns that I am combining into one dress. BUT, years ago (even before I met my fiance), I purchased a remnant of alencon-reimbroidered-pearled lace JUST in case some day my prince came........talk about optimistic!
I started with the bolero/snug, because it was the easier of the two to start.... so I can get my "sea legs" back under me, as I haven't sewn in years.
Here is the whole thing. Sleeves come just to my elbows and cover the "old lady chicken-arm thing" going on, LOL:

I still have not figured out how to get pictures of things to look as pretty as they do in person.
Since there have been many questions posed as to when I'll be working on my dress, thought I'd share this to let you know I AM making some progress, LOL.
