Vintage and/or Vintage Inspired Dresses

Where have you had luck finding your vintage or vintage inspired dress?  David's has a couple, but I feel like I need more options!

I was thinking Ivory Tea length, but I'm open to try anything on.

I've searched Etsy, but I can't stand sifting through the crap to find the dresses.

    Oh and by the way, I would like to TRY to stay under $1000.

    I know it's a bit of a hike but go to Becker's Bridal in Fowler...they are amazing, if you can go during the week even better.  They have a huge selection of sizes and styles, I'm sure you'll find something there.

    try www.unique-vintage.com. YOu don't say what you consider "vintage", it can be the early 1900's all the way through the 1960's. Or, the 1970's if you want a hippie style.

    You can also get any ivory dress that has an appearance of being vintage, and have it cut to tea length.

    I don't :( and i'm stressing out big time over it. Hopefully you'll find something Monday!! :) i think maybe something with lace and ivory would look vintage.

    Yeah.  I'm feeling the whole ivory and lace bit. 

    I'm thinking dresses probably from like the 50's and 60's-but like I said I'm really open to try anything on .....that fits me!

    If you are going for a vintage look (but not necessarily vintage) with lace and ivory, have you looked into Casablanca dresses?  Mine is Casalbanca, ivory and lace, less than $1000.

    This dress may fit your requests (I am biased though because it's my dress :)


    I ordered in ivory and it was $1000.

    I got myself a vintagey dress from Le Salon in Royal Oak. They were real helpful and everything, I would recommend calling and seeing what they have there as far as the vintage look. The dresses they have in the window threw me off. Luckily they have a ton in back. My dress is real big though but its beautiful, I only paid $800 for it and it's all custom measurements and stuff. I'm very happy with it.

    I have a friend who works at Lost and Found Vintage in Royal Oak and she said sometimes they get real vintage wedding dresses in, but they do go quickly. You could always call there.
