well, pricey is relative but if you want great quality at a price that reflects the actual work done try Michelle at The Wedding Shoppe in Berkley.  Here is the link:

I highly recommend Angela at Bella Alterations in Livonia.  She did an amazing job on my wedding dress, my mom's dress, my MOH's dress, and multiple bridesmaid dresses I've taken there.
