What do you ladies have to AW about?!

I have a ton to AW about this week!  I can't believe how much it feels like we have finally accomplished.

-Sent out the info for the guys to get fitted

-Had our cake tasting and chose the bakery.  Just need to send in the contract and deposit

-Chose our honeymoon, flight, and rental car

-Decided on having the rehearsal dinner at my parent's house instead of a restaurant

-90% decided on two different shower dates

-Ordering our invitations today!

-Going with my mom and little sister to pick out their dresses on Saturday

Well if no one else is going to start, I'll be the first Attention Wh*re of the day.

We actually did a lot of wedding stuff last weekend, so I feel very accomplished!  I finally finished the mock up for the invites, ordered our wedding bands, had our taste testing, and finalized the guestlist.  Whew it was a busy weekend.

ETA:  nevermind!  Not the first.

AW FI just called to tell me that HVCC sent our deposit in the mail today! So happy that they were not total slimeballs and at least returned our deposit even thought they have sent me into a tail spin and caused me to get 6 more grey hair in a matter of 4 days. Thank GOD though I needed that money!

AW: I also get the afternoon off tomorrow to go and look for replacement reception halls. FI and I are going to start around 12 and try to get to at least 5 of the places that have our date tomorrow. I want a reception site like I want air right now.

Today we bought my dress and veil! Somewhat disappointed though because it was only my second bridal salon and it was only me and my mom there but we defeinitely found THE dress. YAY!
Yesterday, my dad booked the band we wanted.
And, in about 15 minutes we are meeting with the pastor of the church to find out what exactly we need to do to get married there.
So, a few huge checks off my list

We went to see Crystal Gardens yesterday, and it is our top contender so far for the reception. 

About five minutes ago, I found out my mother-in-law is renewing her vows and asked me to be her maid of honor!  This will be early August 2012, and ours is mid July 2012.  It looks like we'll be planning two weddings at the same time...  Oh boy.

I know it's already Sunday but on Thursday we put the deposit down (for the ceremony and reception) which was such a great feeling!! 

YAY FOR SINGLE DIGITS ALICIA!!! (and I'm even more excited for you because Jan. 22 is our anniversary.. well, our dating anniversary. Our wedding anniversary will be 11/11/11 so it's easy to remember, haha) YAY!!!!
