AW: My Shower!

My sister did the most amazing job for my shower! I was truly blown away by it. Her basement looked like it could be a hall! I stole some of her pics off of facebook since I haven't downloaded any of mine yet, so here it was I have so far. Me and Chris were very surprised by all the generosity, but my sisters gift takes the cake! She gave me a box of candles with a poem. At first I was like "its candles?

" but then I read the poem and I was like "this is the most creative thing every, thank goodness its the last gift

" I am at work so don't have the poem with me but all the candles were paired up and they each have a time to burn them. 1st day as a married couple, 1st anniversary, 1st valentines day married, 1st child, big promotion, 1st company over for dinner, 5th anniversary, and 25th anniversary. So she already had me crying and then she hands me another box which is my something old/borrowed, my grandmothers clutch that she carried on her wedding day. Yup, I was a big teary mess!

My sister was very creative with the decorations. She used scrapbook paper for the place mats. The butterflies had a damask print on them. The plates were plastic throw away ones that look like real china, she found them at costco.

My fav gift would have to be my steam mop which I got at our other shower. But from this shower I would have to say a tie between the rest of our place settings or the nice wine glasses.
